What an awesome place. Small neighbor bar with awesome service and food. Evin and Jacob are both super nice. Enjoyed several of the sauces for their wings. Burgers, and onion rings are holy cow good. The best for me, the chicken wings were the BEST I've ever had, and I have been all over country. Highly recommended!

I Have Seen God, and Her Name is Jessica. I stumbled into Castaways last night a mere mortal, a simple man looking for a beer cold enough to numb the creeping dread of my own existence. I left a devout apostle, a man reborn. The reason for this spiritual awakening? Jessica. To call Jessica a "bartender" is to call Michelangelo a "dude who painted a ceiling." It is a gross and offensive understatement. Jessica doesn't just pour drinks; she summons them from another dimension where everything is perfect and hangovers don't exist. I watched her make a margarita and I'm pretty sure she violated several laws of thermodynamics to make it that good. She slid a beer down the bar with the accuracy of a laser-guided missile. It stopped on my coaster with the gentle sigh of a lover returning home. Her powers are not limited to mixology. She holds the entire bar together with the sheer force of her will. She saw my beer was two-thirds empty from across the room—THROUGH A WALL, I think—and had a fresh one in front of me before my brain even sent the "I am thirsty" signal. Someone told her a bad joke and she laughed with such genuine charisma that the joke retroactively became funny. SHE BENDS REALITY. The food was incredible, sure. The beer was colder than my ex's heart, yes. But that's all background noise. I am now a follower of the Cult of Jessica. I'm having pamphlets printed. Our first meeting is Tuesday. Be there.

Great food, inviting atmosphere for a fun lunch. Our server, Jessica, did a wonderful job holding down the bar and keeping the lunch crowd happy. Castaways has great food and daily specials with a good variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other favorites. The food came out fast, with everything fresh, hot,and very tasty! This is a great place for lunch if you're in the Kimberling City area.

We made a quick stop for dinner one night while in Branson and came across castaway pub and Grill. My husband wanted some seafood. We are used to living on the East Coast. Their idea of seafood is a little bit different in the Midwest, but that’s OK. He had the fish and chips and enjoyed it! The drinks were good and the waitress was amazing. The views of the lake were beautiful also.

A small bar and grill with a very friendly atmosphere. Staff are always friendly when we go and the food is good. Has kind of a Cheers vibe where everybody knows your name. Lots of locals like to hang here so it must be a good place. The space is small and a bit crowded but I think that is what gives it some of its charm. If you are looking for a place to have some cold beer and good bar food this is the place.

Omg I don't usually leave reviews at all but this place deserves 10 stars! The food is amazing (My husband I had burgers and curly fries- western and mushroom and swiss. Both were juicy and cooked to perfection).

Very much a neighborhood place. We went for the fish and it was good. The server was very good to our little girls. We weren't sure when we went in if it would be appropriate for them but the way they treated us reversed that thought.
